Silver
Oak Studios is a d20 publishing company dedicated to creating some
of the most unique and inspiring campaign settings, adventures and
supplements. Our current projects are based on The Land Of Argyle,
a low-magic roleplayer's world which has been in development since
1999.
June
3, 2009 - New website host. I am in the process of migrating Silver
Oak Studios to a new host. At present, I've got a bit of an email
glitch and also I am waiting for an additional Perl module to be installed
on the server, so I can import the Discussions message board. Once
it is active, the URL will be different. It will now be http://www.silveroakstudios.com/cgi-bin/discussions/ikonboard.cgi.
Hopefully today or tomorrow it will all be working again.
February
11, 2008 - Plans for the year announced. John has posted the company's
plans for the year on our Discussions

August
31, 2007 - Free PDF Weekend! Silver Oak Studios is proud to take
part in the "Free PDF Weekend", a joint venture of
many d20 publishing companies. Read about it here
at ENWorld. We are offering "The Monstrous Societies
Of Argyle" as a free
download this weekend. This 13 page, 2MB PDF contains both
monstrous societies from The
Argyle Lorebook, the Black Renders and the Fist of Grollob. Both
make great additions to any d20 fantasy campaign setting, and serve
as an excellent introduction to the Land of Argyle.
Note
that we will also be carrying our Lorebook sale on for an additional
week. If you like the Monstrous
Societies of Argyle PDF, be sure to pick up The Argyle Lorebook
at the discounted price of $9.95 at either DriveThruRPG.com
or RPGNOW.com!!
August

March
30, 2007 - The Vergor. Mike and John are proud to post a
brand new Argyle prestige class, the Vergor. Available from the Downloads
page and the Discussions
message board, the vergor is much like a replacement for the paladin,
only deity-specific. The class is four pages, and an extensively-detailed
NPC, complete with illustration, adds four more pages to this PDF.
March
26, 2007 - New NPC Party. Mike has posted The Graverobbers,
a trio of NPCs located in Port Hope who have a very interesting storyline.
Available in text on the Discussions
message board, and in PDF format (4 pages) via the message topic.
February
21, 2007 - New NPC. Mike has posted the Argyle campaign setting's
twelfth NPC add-in, Theurgard Ironhand. Theurgard is the smith of
Hemdale, a frontier town on the North Cape struggling for survival.
Check it out on the Discussions
message board, and download Theurgard in PDF format if you choose.
